PostSubject: Thunder Commander - Celeria/Kale   Sun Jun 30, 2013 2:33 pm

The speech was quite exciting. Some parts of it troubled the minds of the most clouded saiyans, but those who understood what must be done, listened to the one giving the speech. Commander Celeria. She truly knew the way of speaking to the colony, as her words were able to get to most of the stone aged saiyans, something a lot of saiyans declared as one simple thing: hard. Although many disagreed on her views, there were more the ones that did agree. That was why Celeria was a very respected commander, that could swat a fly just by looking at it. To male saiyans, she was quite attractive  But that was the case with nearly, if not all, the saiyan women. Saiyans liked to breed, and in this new found world, where only 200 saiyans were left, breeding finally became extremely necessary. After years of breeding, the saiyans could possibly get back to half of what they were. If that was possible.

A clap echoed throughout the halls of the colony facility. Several doctors wondered what in the heck was going on, but figured it out by deducing they were with other saiyans. A simple, and powerful realization. Saiyan doctors weren't as primal, or so it seemed, as other saiyans. But they definitely knew the instincts their own race had. What they were truly wondering was what was the clap about. Was it a fight? A highly brutal discussion about the conference that had just gone down? A couple breaking up? Weirdly, that was actually one of the many options that the doctors were zoning on about.

It was, however, nothing but a saiyan in rush. Which saiyan? Why the rush? Two simple questions. This saiyan decided he would stay back, and fight Freeza along with commander Celeria. He wasn't gonna let only some of his kind have the fun. To Mokra, the saiyan in question, that would be highly inappropriate for the kind of warrior he is. The scar across his face showed that he was experienced in battle, and would never back down. He had never backed down yet, so why would he start it all by not facing the tyranny of Lord Frieza. If the changeling even deserves the tittle of lord. The halls already had a lot of rush without Mokra running around, so the doctors couldn't help but ask him what in the heck was he doing. The necessity of nagging other saiyans seemed to be in their blood. Each doctor did the same.

“You there. Mokra. What are you doing causing so much commotion? The other saiyans will be awaken from their little nap in no time if the noise keeps being as loud as this.” The Doctor said, observing Mokra's every movement, as saiyan warriors were highly unpredictable.

“Ask those who are making noise. Not me, Doc.” Mokra wasn't sure why the damn doctor was talking to him. He had opened a door with a bit of strength, but the other saiyans are those who jumped into a big frenzy, so it wasn't entirely Mokra's fault.

“Well it's not like they're gonna tell me!” Mokra heard the doctor reply to him, with yet, another powerful statement. Which made Mokra quite annoyed.

"And I ain't telling you either." Mokra commented, as the doctor thought he was just gonna waste his time yelling out what had been said in the conference-

Mokra made the doctor step to his side, and walked over to what was ahead of him. Soon enough, he was already hovering, and moving much faster than normal. Still, his target was a bit far from the chambers he had just exited. His own chambers. Still, it wouldn't take that much to get to Celeria's quarters.

“I wonder if she's actually there. She could be talking to Espara or something. Somewhere else, in this huge facility. Who knows, she might even be meditating on some asteroid that ain't that far away...”

“Raggot, report to the infirmary, once you have the spare time.” Mokra chuckled, hearing the name of the weaker saiyan on the speaker yet again. As always, taking trips to the doctor. He had probably been beaten up again.

“You shouldn't laugh at other people's misfortune. It's quite rude.” Mokra heard someone under him talk. Looking down, another saiyan was there. It was also perhaps a doctor, so Mokra didn't want to pay much attention to him.

“Well, I don't remember asking you anything. I'm pretty sure I didn't actually. So do me a favor, and piss off. Fly and go talk to the doctors or something."

The other saiyan shook his head, and wondered off, hovering back the way he had come. Opposite from Mokra. Which for Mokra was good, considering the fact that he didn't want unwanted company.

“Glad I got rid of that nagger.”

Mokra continued to hover to the position he was seeking. Soon enough, he pasted Espara's quarters, and seemed to hear nothing inside. "Probably training..." Mokra commented, on Espara's location. It was quite possibly Espara was out training with the other saiyans. He had his duty, as did every other saiyan on the colony. Even Mokra himself had a duty. Protect his kind. And nothing would put him off that duty. It was his, and so he had to fulfill it. Whatever people liked it...or not!

“How much long....” Mokra muttered under his breath. He didn't know how much time it'd take to get to Celeria's quarters.

“Go through there, then turn left there. And finally, right there.” Mokra heard a saiyan comment. How did he even knew what Mokra was looking for? Well, Mokra didn't care, and simply thanked his fellow saiyan. “Thanks. I'll be sure to find Celeria much faster now, instead of having to go through everyplace in this godforsaken rock of a planet.” Mokra followed the strange saiyans indication, and soon enough, found himself at the door to Celeria's little chamber. Mokra brought his hand down, and knocked slightly. But loud enough for anyone who was inside to hear.

"Commander...You there?" Mokra asked, as his hand continuously banged on the door. His intent wasn't destroying the door. But he'd do it if he wanted to.

Celeria had just finished discussing arrangements with Kale. Soon, they would begin the sequence of awakening another squadron of saiyans. Maybe two, depending on the needs of the battle and odds do have to be recalculated every now and again. Seated at her desk, she was going over the personnel profiles of the saiyans that were to be awakened. There were many prospective great warriors on that list and the knowledge warmed her heart a little. She sat back in her chair and observed the clear white ceiling. It helped her think, helped her focus. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

Celeria slowly rose from her chair and tilted her head from one side to the other, cracking her joints. She felt slow and heavy and made a mental note to visit the training chamber as soon as possible. Perhaps she would take the doctor with her. In these dire times, such potential mandated harnessing. At first, she thought the doctor had come back for something, as the data was constantly amassing. When the door hissed open, however, there was the saiyan whom she had seen a few nights ago at the canteen.

"Private Mokra... correct?"
- she arched an eyebrow at him. "And how may I help you?" - she added, leaning onto the doorway. She hoped that he was here to sign up, she felt a lack of patience for every other matter - in fact, every matter that didn't concern the upcoming encounter with Frieza.

Mokra smirked towards the commander, and saluted her. A sign of respect Mokra just couldn't help not using. He bowed his head at Celeria afterwards, and leaned onto the other side of the doorway. He wandered if that conversation could easily be done at the door to the commander's chambers. But at least, that way, no saiyan would be saying Mokra had something with the commander. That was a bit repulsive to Mokra, but not because of the commander. She was actually quite curvy, and could excite a lot of men. But Mokra always kept his cool about those sort of things.

Mokra acknowledged Celeria's knowledge of his name, with a simple grin. To ask if his name was correct, even after saying it right, Celeria demonstrated that she was more preoccupied than what she seemed to be. At least, at Mokra's eyes. Mokra remembered when he first met Celeria. The canteen was overrun with other saiyans. Including Espara. Celeria seemed to handle drinking well, and be able to coordinate that little fun with her training. Mokra had that in common with her. He wasn't a complete drunk, but he did know how to have fun from time to time. Even if he was somewhere alone, he'd be able to find something to do.

"Commander Celeria,-" Mokra pointed to a severely small window outside Celeria's quarters. "...there's something out there. Looking for us, to kill us." Mokra commented on how Frieza was about to return to terrorize the saiyan race. But this time, the saiyans could do it.  Mokra pressed his hands against eachother. Mokra was sure Celeria knew why Mokra was there in the first place. "Commander, many saiyans are going to the new colony, trying to live. Well, I wanna stay. I wanna see the look on Frieza's face when his guards and henchmen are destroyed. I...want to help you!"

Celeria scanned Mokra with her inquisitive eyes. She cracked a small grin at what he had to say.

"It's good to know. Though, I've been having problems making people do their job and actually move to the other planet."
- she chuckled.

"I'll add your profile to the list." - she said, standing straight up once more. "I trust I don't have to tell you that you may not survive the encounter." - Celeria smiled.

Even though they were few, she was glad to see the spirit of the saiyan race was as strong as ever, despite all their trials and tribulations.

This Mokra, he was a decent warrior. With more soldiers like that, the saiyans might even have an advantage. But would the advantage be enough to spare them their heads? For a moment, Celeria reflected on the idea that she and all those who had signed up to stay might be living their last days. If nothing else, she took comfort in the fact that they were living them out as saiyans - in eager expectation of the upcoming battle. Mid-conversation, Celeria had remembered she was to join Kale in the med bay for the analysis of the sample collected on Umirion. She moved out of the doorway and closed the door behind her.

"My presence is required in the med bay. An interesting specimen was acquired during a previous mission and I believe it's ready for analysis. You may join me, if you wish. " - she explained before she slowly started making her way towards the medical bay.

Mokra grinned as he heard the information about his fellow saiyan warriors not wanting to leave either. They were all stubborn beings. All saiyans.

"As you can see, we all want to fight back. Some more than others. But we all wish to fight the tyrant that took us away from our home" - He stopped leaning against the doorway, and wet his lips.

"I look forwards to fighting beside you commander." He said, extending his arms to his sides. "I live to fight. We all do. I don't live to live. I live to kill." - Mokra chuckled at his own comment, as every saiyan should. Every saiyan was programmed to kill. And that was what they were supposed to do.

Mokra watched the commander for a bit. She was what many people looked for. Inspiration. She herself was gonna stay behind and fight the tyrant that had enslaved her kind. Mokra followed her example. Like every saiyan should. The commander was the commander for a reason. Because she was powerful. Mokra was pretty sure she could destroy him. But he was relieved she didn't have a reason to do so.

The impending doom of Planet Delta NW-73 was coming, sooner rather than later. If Mokra didn't make it, he would at least take several henchmen with him to HFIL. If he couldn't take Frieza that is. Mokra at least wanted to blast his tail of his damn body. That would give him a lot of laughs, even before dying. So it was set. He was staying, to help Celeria fight the white tyrant. Mokra then heard Celeria, speculating on what to do next.

"Well, it seems you have found something to do. I was going to swing by the training grounds, but the med bay seems like a good idea. Lead on, I'll follow " - Mokra quickly paced his feet and walked behind Celeria. They were probably gonna meet up with that doctor Celeria seemed to enjoy talking to. Or so it seemed. Kale...

"It's something interesting, really. Outstanding, even. A creature that Kale and I encountered on one of the planets in the neighboring system. It is unlike anything I've ever seen before. And I've been on many missions, I'll tell you that." - she murmured, as she walked in stride with Mokra.

It was good that he decided to come along. In truth, Celeria wasn't all too sure Umirion was the end of the creature. Not with the nightmares she'd been having. No, she was sure they would be seeing it again. So no time should be spared at discovering all there is to know about it.

It did not take the two saiyans long to reach the med bay. As usual, there was the entirety of the medical staff, working hard at their stations, monitoring the cryopods and the healing tanks. Celeria glimpsed Kale lost in thought, leaning over an illuminated specimen analysis station. He looked like he had quite a story to tell. Or did he? As the two witnessed first-hand on Umirion, their technology was seriously lacking. Did the doctor even have the means to analyze the sample? Whatever the situation, Celeria hoped he would have at least some news.

"Hello, doctor." - she nodded to Kale respectfully. "I've come for your report on the specimen brought back from Umirion."

"A creature?" - Mokra asked, a little dazzled. "I feel overwhelmed. A creature not even you, commander, know? That's quite amazing in a way. You've been on more missions than me, and finding such...being you still have no exact knowledge about. Must be a bit hard to swallow such situation. But then again, we saiyans have taken a lot of situations. Frieza included." Mokra kept walking beside the commander. Guess Mokra had really lost some good times. To him, he had woke up too late to have all the fun.

But now Celeria had gotten a feeling of curiosity awaken inside Mokra. Who was this creature? What was it all about? Why did Celeria feel the need to go all the way to Kale to analyse this being? It surely wasn't a normal situation. For the commander to seem to be a bit worried. Mokra could handle tough situations. But he didn't even know half of what this situation was all about.

Soon, Mokra arrived at the medical bay along with Celeria. He didn't usually visit the place. Actually, he had been there only once. After he woke up and the doctors looked over him. Other than that, he had never come to see who the doctors were. He had only met Kale after Celeria's speech. When they arrived, the doctors seemed to be busy as usual. Since there were still a lot of saiyans asleep. Mokra looked around the complex. He hated being around saiyans he didn't know. But at least Kale was somewhere around. Kid seemed to have gotten a nickname for him. Mok. Mokra wasn't really bothered, but it still sounded strange to him.

Mokra stood behind Celeria as she spoke to the doctor. He nodded looking at Kale, and simply said - "Doc!" - once Celeria stopped speaking. Somehow, he was sure Kale was gonna greet him by saying the little nickname he had came up with.

"Mok." - Kale darted an eyebrow and half-grinned as he raised his eyes from the microscope he was leaning over.

"Commander, I'm sorry but the analysis simply isn't done yet. And it won't be for a good while to come. I'll summon you as soon as I have something to show. Cracking this one will be tough..." - he shrugged. There were too many people in the medbay and Kale knew that there was more than that tendril out there to discuss. And that was for Celeria's ears alone.

Celeria arched an eyebrow and focused her eyes on Kale. The doctor was a lot of things, but he certainly wasn't someone who lacked punctuality. When he said something would be done, it was done exactly when he said it would be. Then, it occurred to Celeria that Kale might have some news on her own predicament. This indeed wasn't the time nor the place to discuss such a sensitive subject. A change of course was in order. She would return to Kale later.

"Not done yet? Hm. See to it that it's done sooner. Time is precious, doctor. I suggest you make better use of it." - she grunted and turned around towards Mokra, addressing him once more.

"Well, it seems I have no business here at the moment. So what say you to a drink in the canteen, private? I have a little bit of time and I may as well spend it with my soldiers."
- she inquired with somewhat of a welcoming tone in her voice. With all the things piling up, she felt taking a breather would be helpful.

As usual, Kale did what Mokra expected him to do. But, that actually made Mokra chuckle quite a bit. A doctor's antics. Frieza was coming for their heads, but laughing was good for the soul.

Then, Mokra lifted his eyebrow. He had been told of Kale's success with a various number of things. If this certain case was hard to crack, what else would be like that? But Mokra couldn't have such doubts. Kale was a doctor. And whenever he'd need medical assistance, surely the doc would help. So having doubts about his work wasn't the best way for Mokra to go. So he remained silent. No comment, no expression other than his eyebrow, which slowly returned to its usual place.

Indeed time was precious. The Commander was quite spot on, on that one. Celeria didn't seem to pleased, and Mokra could understand why. The situation wasn't the best, and then, something had to get delayed. But, alas, perhaps Kale would be able to get it done in time. Before their impending doom.

"The canteen is my third favorite place in the colony. I'd never refuse a drink in there. Shall we go then? I haven't, as they call it, drowned my sorrows in a long time." - he stated, motioning for the commander to come along, as Mokra approached the entrance of the med bay. Maybe a break was all she needed. Mokra just hoped no weaklings would come to speak with her. Celeria was a busy woman, and once she found time to spend with her own, it seemed that bothering her with stupidities was not the best thing to be done.

With Mokra in stride, Celeria exited the med bay. Her mind was still locked on the object of Kale's analysis. She wanted, no, needed answers about that thing. She knew it was still alive - she could feel it. And any enemy that's not dead is bound to cause trouble sooner or later. But for now, Celeria would have to deal with the sooner situation at hand. Frieza was coming, so most of the colony's resources and the entirety of Celeria's brainpower beckoned to be directed to the predicament at hand.

The two walked in silence until the roar from the canteen was audible. The two entered almost unnoticed. The soldiers had grown accustomed to Celeria - she never bossed anyone around in this place. It was always the same routine - she appeared at the door, walked to the counter, downed a few drinks and exited as quietly as she came. From what she could gather, she was well-respected for it. And slightly feared.

Like all the other times before, she approached the counter and ordered two drinks as Mokra seated herself beside her. As both took their first sips, it occurred to her that even though she knew everything about this soldier - his physical and mental statistics, his service history - she didn't know him. She didn't know what kind of person he was. She used to know that kind of thing about her soldiers back on the home planet. It made her team what it was - even though they were all remarkable warriors, it was Celeria's knack for bringing out the best in them made the team an unstoppable machine.

"So, private... I'm curious. What was it like for you? You know... in the good old days?" - she asked, breaking the silence. The corners of her lips drew into a subtle smirk as she took a long sip of her drink.

Mokra walked once more next to his commander, a strange smile hitting his face. Somehow, he was zealous for the upcoming battle. Disregarding that creature the commander had been, or was still, worried about, the spiky haired saiyan once again, focused on the minatory pernicious Freeza. He was the one who was coming for them, not that creature. Freeza was going to try and end their race once more, and Mokra was wise enough to understand that, if he didn't go against Freeza, not many others would. The tyrant still struck fear in the hearts of the saiyans, even though they were getting stronger everyday. He at least hoped a fair amount of his brethren would be there when the noxious tyrant did arrive.

As Mokra followed the commander inside the canteen and - having heard the loud yells and chuckles of his comrades from a distance already - he could tell silence wouldn't reign once the commander and the private walked in. In a way, Mokra didn't want it. He enjoyed hearing his brothers and sisters feel at least content with the current situation they were in. In the least, it lighted his mood a bit to hear their scuffles.

Mokra quickly and judiciously sat beside Celeria, bowing his head, as she asked for their drinks. Soon, he had his glass in front of him, with a crimson red substance inside. Well, to my future doom...he joked in his thoughts, as he budged a smirk, before sipping from the glass. He could only wonder what was go- "So, private... I'm curious. What was it like for you? You know... in the good old days?"

Well, it seemed that he had to wonder what was on Celeria's mind no longer. Chuckling brightly for a second, Mokra placed the glass down on the counter, eyeing his commander with a tiny smirk. "Well, first time I've heard that question!" he continued to smile, as his mind searched for a response. "You can say, I was less content. Didn't smile as much. I think, being alive, and knowing my family is dead, gave me a new way of seeing things...but make no mistake, I was as deadly as I am now!" he stated, and as he ended the sentence, he playfully shook his head, "I also hated Freeza much less!" he continued, but now, his tone had changed. When speaking about the tyrant, he was never going to even try to smirk...
